Was Hitler Just A Pawn? - Officer Jack McLamb

I dunno? it's hard enough to get people off their butt nowadays. At least when you say the Name Hitler and Nazi it sure gets their attention. And now that Hitler is getting Good exposure all over the net, anyone serious enough to get involved in anything would be motivated enough to do more research on him.

When I first got the Revelation I was floored at how badly Hitler and the German people had been smeared and this really fired me up!

One thing that I do when arguing about Hitler is ask people if they knew he was an artist.Just about everyone repeats the lie that he was a washed up hack artist (and there's that abysmal movie with John Cusack,MAX,which depicts Hitler as a runny nosed scribbler).

When they go to the web and find out what an excellent artist He was, that can have a big impact.

If you can get people over the Hitler hurdle - they are OURS.NOW they see how the enemy works in all sphere's and are forever changed. We need to find the ways to make this easier, not avoid it!

Clean your hands, and start warning others!  We have work of his that needs to be done, according to his will!  Stand for the constitution, or fall by choosing!

Outrage in India over arrests for Facebook post

Associated Press/Rafiq Maqbool, File - FILE - In this Nov. 18, 2012 file photo, Indian mourners carry a poster of Hindu hardline Shiv Sena party leader Bal Thackeray with the words "Long Live" during his funeral in Mumbai, India. Indian media say police in Mumbai have arrested two girls who posted a comment on a social networking site criticizing the shutdown of India's financial hub following the death of a Hindu fundamentalist politician over the weekend. By NIRMALA GEORGE | Associated Press – 3 hrs ago

NEW DELHI (AP) — As India's financial capital shut down for the weekend funeral of a powerful politician linked to waves of mob violence, a woman posted on Facebook that the closures in Mumbai were "due to fear, not due to respect." A friend of hers hit the "like" button.

For that, both women were arrested.

Analysts and the media are slamming the Maharashtra state government for what they said was a flagrant misuse of the law and an attempt to curb freedom of expression. The arrests were seen as a move by police to prevent any outbreak of violence by supporters of Bal Thackeray, a powerful Hindu fundamentalist politician who died Saturday.

"We are living in a democracy, not a fascist dictatorship," Markandey Katju, a former Supreme Court justice who now heads the Press Council of India, wrote in a protest letter to the chief minister of Maharashtra.

Katju demanded that the state government suspend the police officers who had ordered the arrests and prosecute them.

The women withdrew the comment and apologized, but angry Thackeray supporters ransacked an orthopedic clinic run by the uncle of one woman.

A lawyer representing the women, Sudheer Gupta, said police arrested them Sunday, the day of the funeral, on charges of creating enmity and hatred. They were released on bail Monday.

Shaheen Dhada, the 21-year-old who posted the comment appeared on television Tuesday, her face covered by a scarf so that only her eyes were visible.

America: Reasons why Ron Paul deserves your vote!

The following comments are collected from various news sites, including the NY Times, yahoo news, cnn, and several other sites. Please read as many as possible, before you cast any judgement on the last American running for president.

jason shaw from houston, tx

Lets make this easy - How many politicians actually follow their own rhetoric once elected?

This is why Ron Paul scares the establishment, he wont go back on his campaign promises, ever! Dont let the media spin their version of the gold standard or other issues, listen to Ron Paul speak about these issues if you want to understand.

Its very easy to tell an uninformed Paul Hater from people who are knowledgeable on his issues but dont agree with him. I dont see many of the later posting in these comments, hats off to Chris L. for listening to what the man has to say.

BidNo from Dallas, TX

The Republican and Democratic parties no longer represent the American people -- both have been captured by corporate and moneyed interests. And crony capitalism reigns in American.

Ron Paul and supporters should leave the Republican Party and join with Progressives on the GREEN PARTY ticket. We MUST RECLAIM GOVERNMENT FOR THE PEOPLE. There is more synergy, commonality and opportunity for compromise between Libertarians and Progressives than in either of the parties controlled by MONEY.

Let's do this. Let's provide a REAL CHOICE and REPRESENTATIVE GOVERNMENT for the American people.

The presence of Barack Obama in the White House may have made it easier for Republicans in Congress to side with protests of Administration war and monetary policy, but it had no effect on Paulites in the body politic.

We were with him when Dr. Paul was denouncing the policies of GW Bush just as unabashedly. These years of seeing Ron Paul's predictions of failed wars and stimulus spending come true have added to our number, not the occupant of the White House. If Romney persists in the most repugnant of Barack Obama policies, or even doubles down on them, as he gives every indication of doing, our rejection of him will be even sharper.

After all, we expect more of a Republican, and, we have been spending the better part of the last year belaboring our less astute party members that a Romney Administration will not be much improvement over Obama's. You don't think we'll give up the opportunity of saying, "We told you so!", do you?

Dead Serious from Somewhere

To correct Donald Quixote here, Ron Paul's three big ideas are:

1. Strict adherence to rule of law (the Constitution).

2. No undeclared wars or "hostilities" in foreign countries.

3. Common sense economic policy (no overspending, no monopolies, no pricefixing).

Other than that, read his election platform. It pretty much reflects everything what and who he is.

christopher glidden from farmington nh

Watch this and understand why we need his ideas. http://www.documentary24.com/this-is-how-our-money-system-works--86/

Christopher London from New York, New York

Mr. Douthat makes some cogent points. And for all the critics of the NY Times, it ought to tell you a great deal more about the earnest character of the journalism provided on these pages. A society without a news source with the breadth and character of the NY Times, will simply perish.

Ron Paul has gotten a fair shake from pockets of America's intelligentsia because Ron Paul the man has presented himself, his ideas in a forthright and deliberate fashion and made those ideas center stage, not his ego. You have no choice but to respect Mr. Paul regardless of whether you are inclined at first to side with him or not.

Even as a currently Registered Democrat, I respect Ron Paul for coming forth with a rare degree of candor and integrity about the agenda that he represents. Paul patiently, rationally and deliberately makes the case for Liberty and it forces you to reconsider the America that once was, that you live in currently and what it might still yet become. I am proud to live in a country where Ron Paul is a citizen.

John B from Austin, TX

lib·er·ty (lbr-t)
n. pl. lib·er·ties
1.
a. The condition of being free from restriction or control.
b. The right and power to act, believe, or express oneself in a manner of one's own choosing.
c. The condition of being physically and legally free from confinement, servitude, or forced labor. See Synonyms at freedom.

2. Freedom from unjust or undue governmental control.

3. A right or immunity to engage in certain actions without control or interference: the liberties protected by the Bill of Rights.

Do you believe in Liberty? You may be a US citizen, but if you don't believe in Liberty, can you really call yourself an American? Is not Liberty to very idea of America?

21 WFMJ EXCLUSIVE: One-on-one with presidential candidate Mitt Romney

21 News Now, More Local News for Youngstown, Ohio -

PAINESVILLE, Ohio - For the second time this week, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is campaigning in Ohio.

After speaking to a large crowd of supporters at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Romney took time to sit down and talk with 21 News reporter Michelle Nicks one-on-one.

Romney was escorted into the school's gymnasium by Secret Service agents, members of his staff, and U.S. Senator Rob Portman wearing a red jacket, and still a little soaked from the rain. The presidential hopeful was smiling and friendly as he sat down to talk about the issues.

The first order of business was the Republican's stance on the auto industry bailout; a critical issue for GM Lordstown and the Mahoning Valley.

When asked about how he planned to get support from this area after saying he would let the auto companies go bankrupt Romney had this to say, "My proposal was that the companies needed to go through managed bankruptcy then get government help and come back out of bankruptcy. That's ultimately what the president did. It took him a while to get there. And I believe that the industry would have been in even better shape had I been president because I would have taken them through earlier, saved $20-billion, and gotten them on track faster."

When it comes to the health care reform law, the former governor says while he would repeal the Affordable Care Act passed by President Obama's administration, there are provisions he would keep.

"Actually I would repeal Obama care in its entirety and replace it with my own health care reform plan. My plan gets people that have pre-existing conditions able to get insurance. And I'd take Medicaid dollars, give them back to the states, so the states are able to use those dollars to help their own people in the way they think best, and get the insurance they need."
