The foolery of being and voting Democrat

Have you ever wondered what the fight "across the aisle was all about? Let me explain it, without hiding the root cause. Our founding Fathers set this country as a Republic, not a Democracy. Let's first look at the definitions for both, then weigh the differences, and conclude with what this country is leaning towards, and what can be done to correct these problems.

Republic - a state in which the supreme power rests in the body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by representatives chosen directly or indirectly by them.

Democratic - upholding or favouring democracy or the interests of the common people.

The contrast between the to is significant to say they are polar opposites, a republic is governed by the citizens, whereas a Democracy is the government holds the power and dictates what is best for the people, based on a Majority Rule.
This should go to show why our great nations founding fathers started the preamble of the constitution, "We the People," to enable us to stand up to our government, and stop the federal government from encroaching on our rights.

Originally, America allowed only Adults who fulfilled residency requirements, and paid taxes, the right to vote. Our republic should be opposed, to becoming the global champion of Democracy. What a democracy allows is anyone over the age of 18 to vote, this was exactly what our early leaders did not want to happen.

"Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide." – John Adams (1814)

If this is a fact, then where did democracy come from? There are traces as far back as babylon, but it was first introduced in the Roman Empire, and we all know what happened to the Roman Empire, it crumbled. We aren't trying to follow in their footsteps, are we? I know I'm not!

Democrat - a person who believes in the political or social equality of all people.

Republican - an advocate or supporter of a republic.

According to the last two definitions, all Americans ARE republican. Otherwise, those of you who choose to be democrats, are terrorists, whose only objective is to destroy our republic, by getting rid of the constitution. Besides the fact that a democrat is not an advocate of the republic, he/she also DOES NOT support the republic. One can also conclude that democrats aren't the hard-working tax-payers, but are and represent those on welfare.

When I become president I plan to take away the right to vote unless you pay federal income taxes, and I pledge to be a champion of the constitution. As for President Obama, he hasn't repealed the patriot Act, which is unconstitutional, and has quadrupled the national Debt. He shouldn't be re-elected, because he is not a supporter of the republic!

Vote for freedom, elect Mitt Romney, at least he's American!
