Federal Reserve Has Been Issued Police Powers

Did you know that the Federal Reserve is not a government entity? They aren’t. They are a private Bank that works with the federal government. However, id you know that they were also vested with police powers? That’s right, a non-government bank has police powers via the federal government.
The USA Patriot ACt of 2001, which is anything but patriotic, bestowed domestic police powers on the 12 privately owned Federal Reserve Banks.
Section 364 of the Act,
“Uniform Protection Authority for Federal Reserve,” reads: “Law enforcement officers designated or authorized by the Board or a reserve bank under paragraph (1) or (2) are authorized while on duty to carry firearms and make arrests without warrants for any offense against the United States committed in their presence…Such officers shall have access to law enforcement information that may be necessary for the protection of the property or personnel of the Board or a reserve bank.”

The police officers are technically known as FRLEO, short for Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer. The system has its own police academies for training, their own patch and badges, uniforms, pistols, rifles, police cars and the power to arrest coast to coast without a warrant. They have ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain and a recruitment ad campaign with the slogan: “It’s about respect and recognition from your peers. It’s you.”
The FRLEOs employed by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. are considered employees of the Federal government since the Board is a government entity. Each of the 12 Federal Reserve Banks, as settled law under Lewis v. United States confirms, is a private corporation owned by commercial banks in its region. An email to several of the Federal Reserve Banks confirmed that they regard their FRLEOs to be privately employed by the bank.
There is also the obvious question as to why the expense, training and potential liability of armed police would be necessary when all of the Federal Reserve Banks are in cities with large municipal police forces. With private bankers sitting on the Boards of each of these Reserve Banks, many of whom are officers of banks under criminal investigation, there is the serious need for Congressional investigation into how the Nation’s criminal databases are being used by the private sector as well as the further chilling of protest and dissent from another new sheriff in town.

The Ron Paul Grassroots "Delegate Lawsuit" Tossed, New Version Filed

The lawsuit filed by a Ron Paul grassroots activist lawyer charging the Republican National Committee (RNC) with various shenanigans against Ron Paul delegates and calling for the RNC to admit that no delegate is bound to vote for Romney was dismissed by U.S. District Judge David Carter this week.

Some relevant language from the order explaining why the Judge didn't think the suit worth going forward:
For example, Plaintiffs’ vague reference to “State Bylaws” gives this Court no inkling as to which of the 50 states and which of the millions of pages of bylaws Plaintiffs refer. Similarly, Plaintiffs’ use of the passive voice renders it impossible to discern who broke the bones of whom, who pointed a gun at whom, and whether any of the more than 100 Defendants were even involved. Finally, Plaintiffs’ vague allegations of voting ballot fraud occurring somewhere at sometime and apparently committed simultaneously by all “Defendants” lacks plausibility. While Plaintiffs make an oblique reference to a voting machine somewhere in Arizona, the lack of clarity in this allegation is insufficient to raise it to a level above mere speculation.Thus, this Court does not accept these allegations as true.

The Paul campaign itself never embraced the suit or supported it--though Ron Paul himself didn't choose to condemn it either. Richard Gilbert, the lawyer who filed it, was ferocious in his insistence it was for the good of the delegates, and the honesty of the Republican primary and caucus process.

This is why Ron Paul scares the establishment, he wont go back on his campaign promises, ever! Dont let the media spin their version of the gold standard or other issues, listen to Ron Paul speak about these issues if you want to understand.
Its very easy to tell an uninformed Paul Hater from people who are knowledgeable on his issues but dont agree with him. I dont see many of the later posting in these comments, hats off to Chris L. for listening to what the man has to say.

The Republican and Democratic parties no longer represent the American people -- both have been captured by corporate and moneyed interests. And crony capitalism reigns in American.
Ron Paul and supporters should leave the Republican Party and join with Progressives on the GREEN PARTY ticket. We MUST RECLAIM GOVERNMENT FOR THE PEOPLE. There is more synergy, commonality and opportunity for compromise between Libertarians and Progressives than in either of the parties controlled by MONEY.
Let's do this. Let's provide a REAL CHOICE and REPRESENTATIVE GOVERNMENT for the American people.

The presence of Barack Obama in the White House may have made it easier for Republicans in Congress to side with protests of Administration war and monetary policy, but it had no effect on Paulites in the body politic.
We were with him when Dr. Paul was denouncing the policies of GW Bush just as unabashedly. These years of seeing Ron Paul's predictions of failed wars and stimulus spending come true have added to our number, not the occupant of the White House. If Romney persists in the most repugnant of Barack Obama policies, or even doubles down on them, as he gives every indication of doing, our rejection of him will be even sharper.
After all, we expect more of a Republican, and, we have been spending the better part of the last year belaboring our less astute party members that a Romney Administration will not be much improvement over Obama's. You don't think we'll give up the opportunity of saying, "We told you so!", do you?

To correct Donald Quixote here, Ron Paul's three big ideas are:
1. Strict adherence to rule of law (the Constitution).
2. No undeclared wars or "hostilities" in foreign countries.
3. Common sense economic policy (no overspending, no monopolies, no pricefixing).
Other than that, read his election platform. It pretty much reflects everything what and who he is.

Mr. Douthat makes some cogent points. And for all the critics of the NY Times, it ought to tell you a great deal more about the earnest character of the journalism provided on these pages. A society without a news source with the breadth and character of the NY Times, will simply perish.
Ron Paul has gotten a fair shake from pockets of America's intelligentsia because Ron Paul the man has presented himself, his ideas in a forthright and deliberate fashion and made those ideas center stage, not his ego. You have no choice but to respect Mr. Paul regardless of whether you are inclined at first to side with him or not.
Even as a currently Registered Democrat, I respect Ron Paul for coming forth with a rare degree of candor and integrity about the agenda that he represents. Paul patiently, rationally and deliberately makes the case for Liberty and it forces you to reconsider the America that once was, that you live in currently and what it might still yet become. I am proud to live in a country where Ron Paul is a citizen.

My City in Ruins: Stockton CA, a nuisance to its citizens
This once great city has lost its touch, well at least the city officials have lost theirs. Our elected officials, besides Dale Fritchen, have all adopted a form of government that is spreading quick; tyranny. This type of governing isn't known in the Western world, we call it democracy. I live in Stockton, California, "The most miserable city in America," according to Forbes magazine anyways. In my opinion, its the most "diverse" city in the world, in the way it suffers from a mixture of problems.
Yesterday I received a Letter from the City of Stockton informing me of multiple code violations, and it asks me to correct these violations, and I will, but only after the city corrects their issues. For example, the city's budget has resulted in a negative ending balance for the last four years. Plus Stockton is atop of the nation's murder count, when looked at murders per person. To fix the budget problem the city laid off several police officers, which ultimately had an adverse effect on violent crime.
How, or better yet, why is it that the city can tell me to fix up my yard, or they'll hire contractors to correct the mentioned violations? But when the citizens have pleaded with the city council to avoid bankruptcy by accepting a donation, they simply refused. This city has issues too big for one man to fix, but it only takes one man to place the city back on track, and heading in the right direction. Based on the fact that our council members' disregard for the safety of the citizens, we should show our power in numbers, and express how we will not tolerate their incapacity to manage our city properly.
This is probably because of the suit I filed against the city of stockton, and our mayor, Ann Johnston, dealing with the City charters ambiguous wording which states that she (Ann Johnston) has already termed out, and cannot run again. If they do not have to follow their own laws and regulations, what makes them think the citizens will? I don't take orders from people that don't live up to their own codes of conduct. For many of us who live here, our homes are worth 25% of what they were in 2007, we have little to no income, and we can barely afford to eat, and the city wants to fine us $200-$500 for not maintaining our yards. It's time for them to fix their own problems, otherwise the time-is-up for the incumbents, and we will elect their opposition.
As a way of standing my ground I will pursue some help from local news agency's that are paid to not expose the corruption, and hope to get more citizens to rebel against their code violations, until our city has corrected its own issues. I am willing to do my part, but I want to make sure the people understand why I haven't done so yet. I will not live in a city which is known for its negative impact on society, and I'm not moving until I feel that it's safe again. LET'S TAKE OUR CITY BACK!

Now that the insanity has subsided in the Muslim world after almost a full week of protest, it is maybe time to think about what happened and take time to consider future U.S.-Mideast relationships.
I think we can all agree that everyone involved here, the U.S. government, Muslims, and Muslim governments, mishandled the situation. America should not have apologized to anybody. Muslims need to learn to take time to think twice before flying their Al Qaeda flags in the air and burning the flag of the nation that funds most of the foreign investments in their lands.
It is still unclear why the protests happened at all. Some might argue that it’s because of the low-budget movie on Youtube right now, The Innocence of Muslims. The movie included humor as it related Muhammed, but also satirized secular Western practices too, which can be seen in the way the characters spoke to each other and acted. You see a Muhammed that not only looks Western, but also talks Western and acts Western, all to offend Muslims. Muslims, nowadays, feel a constant angst about melting within a fast-spreading secular Western culture, which only pushes them towards more alienation from the West in general and toward Islamic fundamentalism to identify themselves as a separate ethno-religious group.
Away from the movie itself, let’s take a look the reactions this week. After their diplomatic missions in the Middle East were raided and vandalized, the U.S. government had to step down and apologize for the movie to tame the protests and protect U.S. citizens abroad. Muslims were more than enthusiastic to find a new excuse to burn more American flags and invade American embassies. Muslim governments’ apathy to protect both their own citizens and U.S. missions led to deaths across the region and damage to U.S. diplomatic missions in Sudan, Tunisia, and Egypt.

Contrary to the mainstream view that Ron Paul supporters have returned The Shire to write comprehensive Things We Would Abolish lists and plot of the rise of Rand Paul, Paululons are not done wrecking havoc with Mitt Romney's electoral plans. The Associated Press has found three Republican electors — in Iowa, Nevada, and Texas — who are considering not casting their vote for Romney even if he carries their state's popular vote…
"They've never given Ron Paul a fair shot, and I'm disgusted with that. I'd like to show them how disgusted I am," said Melinda Wadsley, an Iowa mother of three who was selected a Republican elector earlier this year. She said she believes Paul is the better choice and noted that the Electoral College was founded with the idea that electors wouldn't just mimic the popular vote.
The defection of multiple electors would be unprecedented in the last 116 years of U.S. politics.
In addition to several plausible scenarios that would create a 269-269 electoral college tie, sufficient defections could also deny either candidate the 270 votes necessary to secure the presidency. If so, the presidential election would be thrown to the House of Representatives, where each state delegation will be required to vote as a block, and the vice president will be selected by the U.S. Senate by majority vote.
If a majority of House delegations remain Republican while Democrats hold the Senate, Mitt Romney may win the presidency while Joe Biden holds on to the VP slot. At which point, the electoral college would finally begin to approximate an actual American college. Nobody graduates from it — at least not on time — but it sure does inspire a lot of binge drinking.

WASHINGTON -- Republican activists are incredulous: Why can't Republican Mitt Romney seem to break open a tight race with President Barack Obama given the nation's sluggish economy and conservative enthusiasm to beat the Democrat?
"He ought to be killing Obama, and he's clearly not doing that," said 32-year-old R.J. Robinson, one of the thousands of activists attending the annual Values Voters Summit this weekend. "He should be doing better."
Added Mike Garner, a 27-year-old hawking "Reagan was right" buttons at the meeting: "If Romney loses this election, the party really needs to do some soul-searching."
Their sentiments were echoed in interviews with more than a dozen GOP activists and social conservative leaders who attended the annual gathering focused on social and cultural issues and sponsored by the Family Research Council. The summit was filled with rhetoric meant to fire up the party's base voters.
Romney needs them to turn out in force at the polls in November and, between now and then, to convince others to do the same through extensive get-out-the-vote grassroots canvassing in swing-voting states. To energize them, dozens of high-profile conservatives – including former presidential candidate Rick Santorum and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor – used their speeches to paint the 2012 race as a transformational moment in the country's history and insist that the president is turning the nation into a place its founders wouldn't recognize.
Energy was high inside the hotel ballroom where the luminaries spoke.
But frustration with Romney coursed through the hallways, where groups like the National Organization for Marriage and Americans United for Life promoted their policy positions and conservative pundits hawked their books.
